Which types of plans generate a contract?

Contracts are created for all plan types, including recurring subscriptions, one-time payments, free trials, prepaid plans, and fixed-term packages. This ensures a consistent billing structure across all customer plans.

What do the different contract statuses mean?

Trial: The subscription is currently in a free trial period.
Incomplete: Checkout was started but not completed.
Active: The subscription is ongoing and billing is active.
Canceled: The subscription has been manually or automatically terminated.

How can I view the product pricing details from a contract?

Click on the subscription price shown in the contract. This opens the related product pricing configuration, showing pricing amount, type, trial settings, and any applied rules.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Go to Subscriptions in your Subotiz admin, locate the active contract, click the More actions menu (...), and select Cancel. You can choose to cancel immediately or at the end of the billing cycle.

Can I give a refund without canceling the subscription?

Yes. You can issue refunds without affecting the contract status. This is useful when offering compensation while keeping the subscription active. Refunds can be processed via the admin or API.
